Online Communications Manager
A leading nonprofit organization seeks an outstanding Online Communications Manager to coordinate online communications and fund development strategies. The successful candidate must have demonstrated online social network knowledge and experience, fundraising ability, and understand public policy mobilization. The ideal candidate will be a polished professional with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. A master’s degree is preferred with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2-3 years of experience. Information Technology Specialist
The Louisiana Family Recovery Corps is seeking a qualified, energetic person to fills its Information Technology Specialist position. The Information Technology Specialist provides hardware, software, peripheral, and network support to internal and external computer users. All duties shall be under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology and shall provide support ranging from, among other duties, hardware and software problem resolution, assisting employees with individual computer issues that may arise, providing support for other technology platforms such as Recovery Corps data, email, and Blackberry servers, installing or assisting in installation of PC hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, etc. at user’s work area or in IT setup area, loading authorized software packages such as Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite, and other programs onto user’s PCs, responding to user inquiries concerning correct systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems, and participating with supervisor to analyze trends in hardware utilization and assisting in preparing recommendations for upgrades or other remedies to continue to provide a consistent level of service and remove bottlenecks. A bachelor's degree is preferred with a minimum of an Associate's degree in a relative technical field, as are 1-2 years of IT experience. The successful candidate should be Microsoft and network certified and have proven customer service skills to handle fundamental desktop, network, and mainframe analysis. Director of Fund Development
The Louisiana Family Recovery Corps is seeking a Director of Fund Development. The Director of Fund Development provides the day-to-day direction, planning, and execution of the Recovery Corps’ development goals and objectives. This will include, but is not limited to, major gift fundraising, grant writing, corporate and government solicitation, and serving as agency liaison when needed. Essential responsibilities include designing and implementing a fund development plan; identifying, building relationships with, and soliciting all current donors, new prospects, and potential grant-making organizations and individuals; writing fundraising materials and correspondences; overseeing the growth and maintenance of the fundraising tracking and reporting systems; working with the President/CEO to enhance overall agency development efforts; and Working with the communications director and research and policy staff to ensure external communications reflect donor-focused content.
REQUIREMENTS
- Two to five years of development experience with increasing levels of responsibility and achievement in executing a successful fundraising program
- Experience with fundraising and stewardship of major gifts and grants
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Excellent writing and public speaking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and leading fundraising software application
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent
